COUNTRY SOUL - Stephanie Jacques

Stephanie Jacques is musically inspired by an eclectic range of artists, from Donny Hathaway and Tamia to Dolly Parton and Faith Hill. Her unique songwriting and artistic perspective originate from her California roots, as well as her core belief that the most powerful tools in storytelling are vulnerability and honesty. She has written for and collaborated with country and indie pop artists such as John Tucker, Madeline Edwards, Cassadee Pope, and Berry. For her next artist single, she explores a new genre with a duet with Sir The Baptist.

A current resident of Nashville, Tennessee, Stephanie has performed the National Anthem at multiple major league sporting events including NBA and MLB. She has performed on the GRAMMY stage, and regularly volunteers with Musicians on Call and other charity organizations. She is a voting member of The Recording Academy and a member of SAG-AFTRA.

Stephanie’s perspective on diversity in the country music space and the intersectionality of diversity and opportunity led her to start the Jacques Talk Podcast and interview series in 2020. She went on to release “Because of That”, co-written with Cassadee Pope, which was featured on CMT.
